Boise, Idaho

Temple #3 completed today! That makes 3 in one week, off to a good start.

The Boise temple has a unique layout, similar to Dallas and a few other temples built around the same time in the 1980’s. Everything is all on one level, and it was a little confusing to figure out how to get around. I had to keep asking people for directions.

The temple underwent a 2 year project to upgrade the interior and make it nicer. I opened the door of the largest sealing room. It’s beautiful. A huge chandelier in the middle just above the altar and natural light coming through the frosted glass windows.

I did some aerial photography this afternoon. Got some great pictures and video.

While sitting in the car I popped the memory card out of the Inspire 1 quadcopter camera. It literally popped out and went down between the front seat and the center console. I searched for 45 minutes trying to find that little bugger and could not, so unhappily there will be no aerial pictures or photography of this temple unless I find that memory card. Sad face.

To help make up for that, here are some pictures (I didn’t take these of course, we don’t take pictures inside the temples once they are completed). dedicated These are official church pictures of the inside of the renovated Boise temple before it was dedicated.
