I brought my daughter Emily to BYU-I in Rexburg, ID and figured this was a great place to start the temple trip. She was with me for a few days in Utah and I needed to get her back to school. Emily and her roommates (Julie and Tiya) came and visited me in the motorhome.
I visited the Rexburg temple this evening and took this picture while talking on the phone with my good friend.
The RV Park where I’m staying in Rexburg is called Thompson RV Park. Fairly rural, small and quiet. Here’s an aerial photo I took with my new DJI Inspire 1 flying video platform:
I haven’t been to this one yet , but I hope to visit when taking Julie to BYU-I in September.
I have been able to go through this temple a few times since my daughter was attending BYUI when he was built, and dedicated. That was actually the first temple she went through prior to her getting married in the Portland temple. It is quite small but is wonderful to have it so majestic above the college. A beautiful reminder of what to keep eyes focused on.
