I visited the Manti, Utah temple today. The niece of my good friend was married there this morning and I attended the sealing.
This temple is unique in many ways. What makes it special to me is that Tiffany and I were sealed there in 1987.
Being there without her today was difficult. I walked around to the steps on the side of the temple where we took most of our pictures and it brought back wonderful and joyful memories and feelings, and then deep sadness at missing her.
I didn’t feel up to taking any pictures or doing any aerial videos today.
I’ll probably come back to this temple later on my trip and take some pictures and videos.
What a bitter/sweet day it must have been for you, Damon. to be at the Manti Temple. I have not been there since your wedding day (the day after my 41st birthday). You and Tiffany were so young and happy, and full of love and hope for your future. Our family will always have a special place in our hearts for the Manti Temple as we remember that beautiful snowy day in December 1987.
A beautiful, momentous, eternally significant day indeed! It’s so exciting to finally see this blog coming to life….keep on templing!!!
We share your love and memories of the Manti Temple. This is our temple too. Thank you for sharing.
