In a couple days I’m heading to Israel for two weeks. This is the last temple I’ll be visiting until after I return. If I return 🙂
My oldest brother Roark is coming with me since his wife Becky is too scared to go there. It’s something Roark and I have wanted to do for a long time.
Ok, back to my Albuquerque, New Mexico temple visit.
My visit in Albuquerque was so quick that I didn’t eat there. I immediately headed back to Utah because I’m flying to Israel out of Salt Lake City, so I stopped in Moab and had dinner at Moab Diner.
I was the only person there alone. Yes I looked around (just for statistical purposes of course).
There was a large group of 18 people right next to me. The staff took all the empty tables around me and put them together for the large group.
I can’t show a picture of that (I didn’t want to draw attention to myself), but here’s some homemade chicken noodle soup (very good) and Top Sirloin steak (ok). By the way, that steak is not partially eaten, it came that way. Maybe the cook was hungry?
Here are pictures of the Albuquerque temple:
Have a wonderful trip to Israel! I think that’s a fabulous idea! That’s a trip you shouldn’t take alone. Thank goodness your brother can go with you. Can’t wait to hear about it. 🙂
Best wishes on your trip!!
Have a wonderful time with your brother going to Israel and hope to hear all about it when you return. Thanks again for sharing your temples with us.
God bless
