Comments on: Monticello, Utah http://www.AllTheUSTemples.com/monticello-utah/ Join me as I visit all the Mormon temples in the U.S. Tue, 23 Jul 2019 22:34:52 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.7.2 By: Lori Bulloch http://www.AllTheUSTemples.com/monticello-utah/#comment-166 Thu, 03 Sep 2015 17:50:27 +0000 http://www.AllTheUSTemples.com/?p=494#comment-166 It’s wonderful that you have a “safe” place to share your thoughts and feelings … that’s very healthy for all of us. Faith is knowing the sun will rise — lighting each new day. Faith is trust in God above. In Christ who shows the way. Faith is strengthened, we feel it grow, whenever we obey. (Borrowed from the LDS Children’s Songbook).

You will discover more personal strengths and capacity and be able to add that to the great union you and Tiff share. You are continuing to set an example of how to live and be a wonderful older brother. Thanks for sharing the messy parts too 🙂

What an awesome way to capture sites like that. Good for you that you decided to do it. Mourning is an ever changing process that’s for sure. Just when you think that you’re doing okay, emotions come right back at you for another round. The good thing is that slowly but surely, just as you have done here, little bits of joy come back to your life. Giving into your new self, going to that park and filming your adventure brought joy to you, the people around you , and to people like me who have never been there. Thank you! and Good Luck with your new self. 🙂

I feel really close with Heavenly Father when I’m out in nature. Happy to hear you have decided to go do stuff alone–a big turning point for all newly alone folks. Look forward to seeing what other adventures come your way!

I love Balanced Rock…haven’t seen it in person (yet). The Monticello Temple is special to me…. I was there for its dedication. It was the first “mini” temple dedicated. Beautiful area and beautiful temple.
As for grief…. it is like the waves on the ocean. It comes and goes. It pulls back then can crash with enormous power. Some waves are little ones and are manageable. Others will knock you down. Be forewarned and expect this. The process is a long one and you are simply moving through it. Good news…. you will get through it.

Just take a day at a time but knowing you will always miss her. Prayers for you and yours. Thanks for sharing your journey.
